Can I try it without a card

Yes. The playground above is a worked example you can read without an account at all. The free credits come with an invitation during early access: an invited account gets 30 free credits, needs no card, and those credits do not expire. Every capability is available on it.

Why does Threads only have two endpoints

Threads makes very little public. So Profile and Stats are what genuinely exist there, and we would rather show two real endpoints than nine hopeful ones.

What data do you collect about me

The minimum needed to run your account: your email address, your password stored hashed (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account id), your credit ledger and your API keys (stored hashed, never in plain text). If you asked for an invite, your email address until we contact you or you ask us to delete it. Public data only. We request no contact-detail fields; free text (bios, captions, comments) is returned as the platform published it, so it may contain contact details its author chose to publish.

Can an agent use this without a human

That is what the machine-readable tool discovery, the OpenAPI 3.1 spec and the llms.txt are for. They are linked in the footer, and every price and platform name on this page is in the server-rendered HTML rather than hidden behind a script.
